Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions we get asked

Do you work outside of Coventry?

Yes, we cover all the Midlands during our standard operations and have the capability to cover nationwide, if required too.

Are you available 24/7

We do offer a 24/7 service to existing customers who have taken out our Emergency Cover Plan. For more information on this service please contact us, during normal working hours.

Do you repair appliances?

Unfortunately not. We are electricians and only focus on buildings and the fixed wiring within.

Do you fix electric cars?

No, we don’t. We install the charge points required for Electric Vehicles, but do not fix the cars themselves. We would advise seeking a specialist auto-electrician to help with any fixing needed for your electric cars.

As a landlord, do I need EICR for my rental property

It’s a legal requirement that all rental properties have an EICR in place. A new EICR is required at every new tenancy or every 5 years.

If there's a power cut, can you get my electricity back on?

No we can’t, if you are experiencing a power cut we would advise you check the National Grid’s website or call them to enquire about your area.

Are you looking for new staff or apprentices?

We are always presenting new and exciting opportunities and will always review any application. Please send your CV over to admin@coventryelectrical.co.uk
